Tamar Frankiel, Ph.D., teaches the history of religions at the University of California Riverside. She is the author of The Voice of Sarah: Feminine Spirituality and Traditional Judaism and three books on Western religious history. Her latest work is called "Gift of Kabbalah : Discovering the Secrets of Heaven, Renewing Your Life on Earth." She lectures frequently in the Jewish community and is affiliated with the Jewish Learning Exchange in Los Angeles. Frankiel lives with her husband and five children in Los Angeles.
